Men of the World
Have you ever been on a coach holiday or just a day trip and
wondered what the jovial coach driver actually thought of you
and your fellow passengers?
In the style of Bouncers and Shakers, John Godber reveals
all in the shape od Stick, Larry and Frank, three northern coach
drivers preparing for a mystery trip to Scarborough.
Relive those happy sing-a-long holidays with this funny and
often touching play by the author of last seasons hit Perfect Pitch.

Murdered to Death
A mysterious death in a country manor house. Did Bunting the butler do it?
Will the English Colonel lose his stiff upper lip? what is the
shady French art dealer up to? and will the bumbling
Police Inspector be able to solve the case before all of the
cast meet a sticky end?
Find out in this hilarious spoof of a typical Agatha Christie "who done it".

Beauty and the Beast
If you are feeling a little flat and grey after Christmas
then our magical and colourful production of the classic
story of Beauty and the Beast could be just the tonic you
need to face the winter months ahead.
A fairy story to enchant the whole family as we discover
that there is more to beauty than meets the eye!
9 - 19 January
Strictly Murder
Set in Provence in 1939, an English couple, Peter and Suzy
are living an idyllic lifestyle far from the rumblings of the
coming war.
But their peace is shattered when Suzy discovers that Peter
is not the man he claims to be, and that he could be a
ruthless killer on the run.
When a Scotland Yard detective arrives, events become
even more complex and frightening in this fast moving
thriller of bluff and double bluff.
8 - 15 March
Way Up Stream
What could be more pleasent that a holiday on the river?
Just about anything is the answer as the self appointed
skipper, Keith, finds out when things do not go quite according to plan.
If you are contemplating messing about on the river this
summer, then this play could be a life saver.
Another great comedy by the author of The Norman Conquests and
Seasons Greetings.
10 - 17 May
Blood Brothers
Another chance to see our acclaimed production of the
original version of Willy Russell's play and hit musical.
The story of twin brothers who are separated at birth but
through a twist of fate become childhood friends, remaining
so throughout their eventual lives, never realising that they
are truly blood brothers.
A modern classic not to be missed.
5 - 12 July

Frozen
This award winning play premiered at Birmingham Rep in 1998
deals with the difficult subject of child abduction and serial killing.
Ralph is a loner with a bit of previous. Nancy is the mother
of a missing girl and Agnetha is the American academic
trying to find answers and offer some light where only
darkness seems to reign.
The play contains scenes and language that may offend.
6 - 9 February
Deck the Halls
Oldbury Rep and the Langley Band unite to bring you a
heart-warming programme of festive cheer. Join us for all
your old favourites along with carols, comedy and readings
as the festive season gets into full swing.
Mince pie and mulled wine included in the ricket price -
book early to avoid dissapointment!
5 - 7 December
Whilst every effort is made to present the productions as listed, there are occasional circumstances beyond our control which may necessitate a change to the published programme.
Performances begin at 7:30pm unless otherwise stated. To avoid disappointment patrons are reminded that latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable point in the performance. Patrons are also requested to switch off all mobile phones, pagers and silence alarm watches when in the auditorium.
