Oldbury Rep Celebrates 70 Years

The Company's first production Tonight at 7:30 took place in July 1944, Oldbury Repertory Players was formed as an independent theatre company.

Moving to its present site in 1956, Oldbury Rep has continued to expand on the success of those early years with major additions to the original builing including a bar, rehearsal room and wardrobe facilities

Oldbury Rep is Sandwell's only purpose built theatre, providing a variety of productions which have earned a reputation for quality and value for money.

We are now firmly established as a community theatre, supporting local traders and charities and providing a venue for local organisations and schools.

We hope you enjoy your visit to Oldbury Rep, and will make many return visits in the very near future.

Facilities include a licenced bar, coffee shop, exhibition area and banked seating to ensure clear views of the stage. We also have access to a large public car park with CCTV surveillance.

Facilities for our Disabled Patrons

There is ramp access from the car park into the theatre, and ground floor access into the auditorium with spaces for six wheelchairs. The bar, coffee shop and toilets are easily accessed. Please notify the box office of your requirements when booking.

We regret that there is no disabled access for studio productions.
